Acceptable Use

The idea

Tellsy is for understanding your own conversations and relationships a little better, and having some fun with it. Every chat has another person in it who did not choose to be analysed. These rules exist to protect them and you.

Only your own chats

• Only add chats that you took part in.
• Do not add chats taken from someone else's phone, account or backup without their permission.
• Do not add chats you obtained by hacking, spyware, or any other unauthorised access.
• Tellsy is for people aged 18 and over. Do not let a minor use your account.

Respect the other person

Do not use Tellsy or its results to:

• harass, bully, threaten, stalk or intimidate anyone;
• monitor, control or pressure a partner, ex or anyone else;
• shame, humiliate or expose someone, for example by posting their messages or results publicly in a way that identifies them;
• make decisions about someone's job, housing, credit, education or legal situation;
• accuse someone of lying, cheating or anything else based on an AI read. AI reads are patterns in text, not proof.

When you share a card, think about whether the other person would be comfortable with it. Prefer cards that don't show their name or their words.

Content that is never allowed

Do not add, generate or share content that:

• sexualises or exploits minors;
• promotes violence, terrorism or self-harm;
• is illegal where you live.

We may report illegal content to the authorities where the law requires it.

Fair use of Tellsy

Do not:

• try to reverse engineer, decompile, scrape or copy Tellsy;
• try to get around masking, usage limits, paywalls or security checks;
• send automated requests, or try to make the AI produce harmful content or reveal its instructions;
• resell or commercially exploit Tellsy or its results without our written permission.

If you feel unsafe

If a conversation makes you feel unsafe, reach out to someone you trust or to local support services. In an emergency, call your local emergency number. In Türkiye: 112 (emergency), ALO 183 (social support line) and the KADES app.

Enforcement

If you break these rules we may remove access to features, suspend or close your account, and, where required, cooperate with authorities. Where reasonable we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond.
